Get ready to turn those “Ho Ho Hos” into “Ha Ha Has!” this holiday season as ComedyCity brings to a hefty helping of improv comedy with a festive twist. In addition to our normal offering of the Family Fun Show and Grown-Up Show, we are presenting several shows imbued with the Christmas spirit. It all starts the night before Thanksgiving and caps off on New Year’s Eve. You might as well call us Santa because we have something for everyone.

Thanksgiggling: A Holiday Pregame Show

Snowy Mittens: An Improvised Holiday Romance

A Christmas Story: Live Radio Play
– Date & Time: December 14, 7:30 PM
– Description: Experience the nostalgia of a live radio play adaptation of the beloved holiday classic, “A Christmas Story.” Delight in the live sound effects and vocal performances as the story comes to life on stage, transporting you back to the magical world of Ralphie Parker.
Comedic Neutral: Holiday Special
Date & Time: Saturday, December 16 at 6:30 PM
Overview: The improvised Dungeons n Dragon campaign is back at ComedyCity Theatre. Join our crew as they embody the characters they created and take you on an adventure like no other. Although they will make many decisions, their ultimate fate could depend on the roll of the dice. It’s Giftsgiving, a holiday started by the mythical sorcerer, Figg E. Pudhin, to give people hope during the Tarrasque War. Everyone who behaved gets a gift! Those who have been naughty get a visit from the Crungus, a horrific beast that kidnaps and punishes those who have been bad. Our players did not make the nice list. More details here.
The Comedy Roast of Santa Claus

Puppets Save Christmas

The Jon Bruinooge Christmas Special
– Date & Time: Saturday, December 23 at 8:30 PM
– Description: Join us for a special holiday-themed show featuring Jon Bruinooge! Celebrate the season with live music, festive humor, and a unique blend of comedy and entertainment. This Christmas special promises an evening of laughter and holiday cheer!
New Year’s Eve Shows
Date & Time: Sunday December 31 at 5:00 PM, 7:30 PM, and 10:00 PM.
– Description: Our longest tradition continues as we offer several shows on New Year’s Eve to help you ring in the new year with a belly full of laughter. We start with a special Family Fun Show at 5 PM. Then we offer two more Grown-Up Shows at 7:30 PM and 10 PM. The early shows will include a simulated countdown to midnight, so the kids and those who don’t want to stay up late can experience the thrill of noisemakers. The 10:00 PM show will conclude just in time for an actual countdown to midnight.
