Hey Green Bay, parents! Looking for an exciting and enriching activity for your child or teenager this summer? Look no further than ComedyCity Theatre’s summer improv camps! We offer two sessions geared toward two different age groups. Both will give your children a deep dive into improvisational comedy. Not familiar with ComedyCity? ComedyCity’s Teen Improv Camp:
For teens aged 13 to 17, our Teen Camp offers a dynamic and engaging experience in the art of improvisation. Running from June 24th to 28th for Session A and August 5th to 9th for Session B, each day from 12 PM to 2 PM, this camp provides a perfect opportunity for teenagers to hone their improvisational skills while having a blast.
Led by instructors who are experienced improvisors, participants will delve into the fundamentals of improvisation, learning valuable lessons in teamwork, communication, and creativity. Through a series of interactive activities, games, and collaborative exercises, teens will not only enhance their improvisational abilities but also build confidence and social skills in a supportive environment.
The highlight of the camp? A culminating performance where campers showcase their newfound talents alongside ComedyCity’s seasoned performers. ComedyCity’s Kids Improv Camp:
Designed for children aged 8 to 12, our Kids Camp offers a similar immersive experience in improvisation, tailored to younger participants. Taking place from June 24th to 28th and August 5th to 9th, from 9 AM to 11 AM daily, this camp promises a week of laughter and learning.
Just like the Teen Camp, Kids Camp attendees will embark on a journey of discovery through improv games, lessons, and collaborative activities. Under the guidance of our skilled instructors, children will develop essential life skills such as confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The week concludes with a special showcase where children get to demonstrate their newfound talents to friends and family, leaving them with memories to cherish and skills to last a lifetime. Register your child.
