You didn’t read the book—and neither did we. Join us for ComedyCity Book Club on Saturday, August 30 at 8:30 PM, where our cast of improvisers will boldly dive into literary chaos with no required reading and absolutely no homework.
Here’s the deal: we’ll ask the audience to provide a book title, a quick synopsis, and a list of characters. Armed with nothing but that info (and a lot of misplaced confidence), our players will perform a completely improvised, longform version of the story—filling in the blanks, imagining the twists, and likely butchering the ending.
Will we stay true to the plot? Not a chance.
Will we commit with full dramatic flair? Absolutely.
Will you even notice? Probably not.
