Musicale Rando: An Improvised Musical Out of Order
Get ready for a musical theatre adventure where the songs are made up, the story is improvised, and the order is completely unpredictable. Musicale Rando takes the stage at ComedyCity Theatre on Friday, August 7 at 7:30 PM as part of Rogue Comedy Month.
In this full-length improvised musical, the audience provides the inspiration, and the ComedyCity cast creates an original story right on the spot. But there’s a twist: the musical numbers are randomized. The opening number might not open the show. The big love song could happen before the characters even meet. The villain’s dramatic introduction may arrive way too late, the revolution could break out at the worst possible time, and the closing number might show up before anyone is emotionally ready for it.
From heartfelt ballads and show-stopping ensemble numbers to dramatic reveals, climactic confrontations, and big Broadway-style endings, every familiar musical theatre moment is on the table. The only thing missing is a sensible order.
