Entertaining audiences for more than 35 years
ComedyCity’s diverse band of comedy minstrels has been generating smiles, chuckles and belly laughs for 35 years. We are a troupe of about 30 active and semi-active performers, of which eight are usually involved in a show at any particular time.
Our alumni count is north of 400 people, and occasionally you’ll even see some of these veterans making cameo appearances.
What is improv comedy?
Unlike standup comedy, our performers have no idea which direction the situation will take. Audience suggestions determine the theme for the scene, forcing our performers to think on their feet.
There are no bad suggestions or wrong answers. Now, some of the stuff we do or say might be wrong, but that’s a whole other story … and also part of the fun. Your participation, both in offering scene suggestions and even getting on stage, is completely voluntary.
