Every wedding has a story. Some are sweet. Some are beautiful. Some involve screaming relatives, questionable speeches, disastrous dance floors, missing rings, awkward in-laws, ruined honeymoons, and at least one person who probably should not have been invited.
‘Zillas: Improvised Wedding Nightmares is a completely improvised comedy show that turns your wildest wedding stories into hilarious scenes, games, and full-blown dramatic re-enactments. Part of ComedyCity’s Rogue Comedy Month, this one-night-only show invites the audience to share stories and suggestions inspired by every part of the wedding experience, from proposals and engagements to meeting the parents, bridal showers, dress shopping, bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding day chaos, receptions, and honeymoons.
No story is too strange, too messy, or too ridiculous. ComedyCity’s “wedding party” will take real audience suggestions and transform them into wedding-themed improv games, mini-scenes, and long-form comedy inspired by the unforgettable moments that make weddings both magical and completely unhinged.
Whether you have been the bride, groom, guest, officiant, plus-one, bridesmaid, groomsman, photographer, caterer, or innocent bystander, this show is for anyone who knows that love may be patient and kind, but weddings can be absolute nightmares.
Join us for ‘Zillas: Improvised Wedding Nightmares on Saturday, August 15 at 8:35 PM at ComedyCity Theatre. Please RSVP for this very special occasion sooner than later. This particular “wedding” event is child free. We definitely suggest that attendees be ages 16 and older. Don’t worry, this isn’t a dry wedding. There will be plenty of alcohol available for those who are 21 or older. ComedyCity can’t make any promises for the night’s playlist and will not rule out the possibility of the chicken dance. We also can’t rule out Aunt Gladys causing a scene.
