Rogue Comedy Double Feature: Professor Why + Honey, I’m Home
Two wildly different improv shows. One unpredictable night of comedy.
As part of ComedyCity’s Rogue Comedy Month, Rogue Comedy Double Feature brings two original, experimental improv formats to the stage on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 8:35 PM.
The first half of the evening is Professor Why, an improvised homage to a certain classic British science fiction series about an ageless alien traveler who journeys through time and space, regenerates into many forms, and battles evil across the universe. In ComedyCity’s version, the audience helps create the adventure in real time. The time period, the location, the villains, the strange worlds, and the impossible stakes will all be made up on the spot by the performers. Every show becomes a brand-new sci-fi comedy episode that has never happened before and will never happen again.
The second half of the night is Honey, I’m Home, a long-form improv show inspired by the shocking, strange, hilarious, or unforgettable things audience members have come home to find. Before the show, audience members will write down their real-life surprises, with only two rules: no dead bodies and no infidelity. The ComedyCity improvisors will choose three of these stories and use them as inspiration for a series of completely improvised scenes.
Whether you love time travel, sci-fi adventures, audience-driven comedy, or true stories turned into ridiculous improv, Rogue Comedy Double Feature is a one-night-only ComedyCity experience packed with strange twists, big laughs, and unexpected discoveries.
