Introduction to Improv Class

Discover the fundamentals of improvisation in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment. This five-week introductory course uses games, exercises, and scene work to explore the core principles of improv, including listening, collaboration, creativity, adaptability, confidence, and the core concept of “Yes, And.”
No previous improv or performance experience is necessary. Whether you’re interested in performing on stage, building confidence, thinking on your feet, or simply trying something new, this class provides an opportunity to learn through play.
Throughout the course, students will practice letting go of the need to have the “perfect” idea, becoming more comfortable with the unexpected, supporting their scene partners, making confident choices, and discovering what happens next.
The class will run on Mondays from 7 PM – 9 PM.
Sessions will run:
Oct 5 to Nov 2
Nov 9 – Dec 7
