Night Call

Night Call with Nick Wallander
Step into the strange, the unexplained, and the completely improvised with Night Call with Nick Wallander, a late-night talk show experience where the truth is created on the spot.
Inspired by classic late-night radio shows that explored the paranormal, conspiracies, fringe science, cryptids, UFOs, unexplained phenomena, and the mysteries lurking just beyond the edge of reason, Night Call invites the audience to help shape the broadcast in real time. Your suggestions will determine the evening’s expert guests, bizarre theories, mysterious caller topics, and whatever strange developments emerge before the night is over.
Hosted by ComedyCity’s Nick Wallander, this improvised comedy show blends the eerie atmosphere of late-night radio with the unpredictable energy of live improv. One moment, you might meet an expert on haunted lighthouses, time slips, or government cheese conspiracies. The next, a caller could be phoning in with a terrifying encounter, a suspicious discovery, or a theory no one is emotionally prepared to verify.
Pe Nick Wallander, “I wanted to pay tribute to shows like Art Bell’s Coast to Coast AM that totally never ever kept me awake at night when I should have been fast asleep for school the next morning.”
Every guest, every call, every theory, and every twist is created live on stage based on audience suggestions, making each performance of Night Call completely unique.
Join us at ComedyCity Theatre on Friday, August 14 at 7:30 PM for an improvised journey into the unknown. Whether you believe, want to believe, or just love a good conspiracy, Night Call is your invitation to tune in, “call in”, and find out what’s really going on after dark. It’s another wild card entry into ComedyCity’s Rogue Comedy Month.
Rogue Comedy Month is ComedyCity’s annual August celebration of bold, experimental, and unpredictable comedy. We step away from the status quo by taking a few chances into the absurd and the unknown.
