DESCRIPTION:BASSPROV is a one act improvised play (performed by Mark Sutton and Joe Bill) that takes place in a boat as old friends Earl Hinkle and Donny Weaver catch up with each other and current events\, drink a couple beers\, and try to catch a fish or two. \nHere’s what audiences around the world have said about BASSPROV: \n“Critic’s Choice” – Chicago Reader \n“Hilarious” – Chicago Sun-Times \n“Chicago’s Best Comedy Group” – Bass Ale Comedy Competition \n“Outstanding Improv Duo” – Chicago Improv Festival \nAs co-founders of Annoyance Theater\, Joe and Mark were the first nationally touring duo improv show\, beginning in 2001. BASSPROV has headlined every major improv festival in North America and were the winners of the Nichols & May Outstanding Duo Award 2010 at The Chicago Improv Festival. DESCRIPTION:Is your teenager looking for something to do this winter?  Might they be interest in learning a little improvisational comedy?  If so\,  have them join us for a free Teen Improv Workshop at ComedyCity Theatre on Sunday\, March 15 from 1–3 PM. Ages 12–17.  (sign them up) \nThis fast-paced\, high-energy two-hour session is a hands-on introduction to improv comedy. Participants will jump right into a wide variety of fun improv games and exercises that build creativity\, communication\, teamwork\, and quick thinking. There are no scripts and no pressure.  It will be a supportive environment where teens can try something new\, express themselves\, and connect with others. \nImprov is more than comedy. It helps develop confidence\, listening skills\, collaboration\, and the ability to think on your feet. \nAdmission is free\, but advance sign-up is required to reserve a spot. Whether you’re 8 or 80\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! \nEach show runs approximately 90 minutes with an intermission\, delivering non-stop laughs in a fun\, welcoming atmosphere. \nBox office opens at 6:00 PM for our 6:30 PM shows. Street parking is available nearby. DESCRIPTION:ComedyCity: After Dark is our classic improv comedy show with an edgier tone with the potential for our performers to dive into more daring\, uncensored\, or mature themes.  It’s the perfect night out when you are in town for the Packers game! \nWhile every ComedyCity show is unique—thanks to the unpredictable magic of improvisation— ComedyCity: After Dark offers the possibility for bolder humor and adult-oriented content that isn’t suitable for all ages. Each show features a cast of quick-witted performers who take audience suggestions and spin them into hilarious\, on-the-spot scenes\, songs\, and games. Whether we ask for your favorite guilty pleasure or something you found hidden in your closet\, the performers will turn your prompts into laugh-out-loud moments. \nShows run approximately 90 minutes with an intermission\, and we’re located right on Main Avenue in historic downtown West De Pere. \nGrab your friends\, buy a beer or two\, and join us “After Dark” for a night of laughter and surprises at ComedyCity—where no two shows are ever the same and anything could happen. \nComedyCity is a troupe of improvisational comedy performers based in De Pere\, Wisconsin. We feature 3 shows each week\, often in different styles and formats.
